Where's your line for a "mistake?" Seems a big mistake to me.

There should be no place in the league for [expletive] who beat their girlfriends.

I don't want him in the league, but what's the answer? Should he be unemployed, permanently?

Yeah. Maybe. Make it hard for people who beat women to get work.

In all seriousness, get a job helping the community. Or do something. These guys never truly show they care. Give talks. Give talks to minor leaguers about your experience. Seek forgiveness by publicly displaying remorse. Damn, it is not hard. Look at what people like Wainwright do with their wealth. Addison can do something like that--maybe not with money since he doesn't have just a ton like Waino did, but it can be through volunteering time helping battered women organizations. Anything to show you give a damn.

It was sarcasm. But it’s funny how I got the backlash and the Cubs aren’t, when they’re the ones implying the same message by giving him millions of dollars.

The Cubs paying another abuser is no surprise.

Quote:
Cubs closer Aroldis Chapman pitched a scoreless ninth inning at home against the Cardinals last night, and as he walked off the mound the person in charge of the stadium’s PA system chose to play “Smack My [expletive] Up” by The Prodigy. “Smack My [expletive] Up” is a bad song for a lot of reasons, but it was a particularly bad choice last night, given Chapman’s recent 30-game suspension for violating MLB’s domestic violence policy.

Cubs Apologize For Playing "Smack My [expletive] Up" As Aroldis Chapman Exited Game
