I have a bunch of reasons why I’d rather not die between now and June. But I’d be lying if I said watching Rick Ankiel get back on the mound wasn’t up there.

When Brett Cecil is one of the lefty options out of the pen, even 80-year-old Jim Kaat would have a shot of going north with the club.

I once saw Jim Kaat walking outside of Busch II after a nationally broadcast game, and his mechanics were perfect. (please read to the tune of Werewolves of London).
