no idea when...dodgers have to move some stuff around....so will say 1/14/19
Why would he take an 8 year deal? He only takes that if it's front loaded with like 50/year for three years with opt outs.
Likely takes longer deals over shorter.
It appears that he specifically explained why he thinks Harper would take a shorter deal.
Yeah I get that but why? Why wouldn't the Dodgers want to do a 10 year deal? And lower the payroll? It makes no sense from either side. Unless it's front loaded.
Oh well this will all be over with in a week or two.

Everyone gets to make their own guess. No one has to agree with it.
Hmm. I think Boras is waiting for a suitor to talk louder than anyone else in the room, per se. And I don't think that suitor is talking loud enough, right now. I think NY is a longer shot than Chic, or LA; and those 2 are who Boras would want fighting over him. (Bromance with Bryant vs hometown.)
I think we're talking about 10-12yrs $35m+ per, in between the 2nd and 3rd weeks in Jan.

20 Years $1 billion
LA Angels
20 year personal appearance contract after that.
The Cardinals, as usual, will come in second (even though they could easily afford to give him $1.5B)......... because they don't really care about winning.
