I was skeptical about this years ago, but our minor league stadium has it past the dugouts and I haven't even thought about it when sitting behind it. I guess the MLB stadiums are all the same now?

The netting doesn't bother me at all; they can extend it all around the field if they want.

What? If you go to a damn game, pay attention!! The Wussification of America continues!!!!

I am totally sarcastic up above. Agree completely - if it makes going to the game safer, do it. There is no reason a fan needs to get hurt attending a game.

Or, just expand the netting.

it really is amazing on the whole "what will it take for MLB to mandate", etc. netting behind home plate and those are supposed to be "the best seats" but i don't hear people saying at point of purchase "oh yeah and can you get rid of the screen?". with the amount of people i see on their phones while driving this seems like such an easy thing to fix in that environment.
