The Peoria Chiefs have been bitten by the injury bug. Going on the 7-day Injured List:

RHP Noel De Jesus
RHP Franyel Casadilla
RHP Dionnis Zamora

Replacing them on the Chiefs' roster are:

RHP Kyle Leahy (Johnson City - EST)
RHP Michael Brettell (Johnson City - EST)

5 more international signings:

2B Carlos Arcia -
C Roblin Heredia -
RHP Edgar Manzo - Mexico
P Wilmer Ortega
OF Hansel Otamendi - Cuba

Still trying to figure birthdates and other factors with these guys, but here's what I got.

Edgar Manzo was purchased from the Toros de Tijuana and is 18-years old. Hansel Otamendi played with Malcom Nunez and is 17-years old. He's a fast contact hitter who averaged .350 in the 2016 U-15 World Cup, with seven hits in 20 at-bats. Basically the entire Cuban U-15 team defected to the Dominican Republic shortly after winning the championship.

Regarding the 5 international players that the Cardinals just signed, I've got all the relevant information listed in the Roster Tracker. Also, the International Signing History spreadsheet has also been updated.

Alex Reyes (finger) has joined up with High-A Palm Beach.
Reyes will work out of the rotation at Palm Beach for a bit before probably advancing back to Triple-A Memphis at some point. The 24-year-old right-hander fractured his left pinkie finger when he punched a wall after a rough start for Memphis in late April, but he's recovered now.

Lane Thomas will remain on the Cardinals' active roster.
Thomas was called up to serve as the 26th man in Wednesday's doubleheader against the Royals, and now he's going to stick around as a member of the 25-man roster. The 23-year-old outfielder is 4-for-10 with one home run and four RBI in eight games this season with St. Louis.

Cardinals optioned RHP Ryan Helsley to Triple-A Memphis.
Helsley has pitched pretty well this season at the major league level -- 3.38 ERA, 10/2 K/BB ratio in eight innings of relief -- but the Cardinals wanted to keep outfielder Lane Thomas around after he served as the 26th man in Wednesday's doubleheader against the Royals.

I actually forgot to update this thread. Big thanks to the other posters, though. While I was away I was still updating the spreadsheet. The DSL rosters are now set with the league beginning play today, so drop by the Roster Tracker and give it a look. All transactions are up to date as of yesterday night.

Here's the link to the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
