The cynical might say that Adam is getting away with things today because of good defense and fortuitous wind, but he's getting swings and misses and awkward takes on hittable pitches.

I'm encouraged by today because there's a lot of good hitters in that lineup and he's kept them off of the scoreboard (so far).

Also, it's Jody's birthday at the ballpark.
