for me it's just a collection of everything that makes it so bad; sad actually...we all say dumb [expletive]...but to say something dumb basically every inning or 2 on a televised broadcast makes it more cringe-worthy IMO. I know I couldn't do any better, and would be awful/say even more dumb [expletive]...but I'm not on tv.Schlich wrote:I honestly didnt think the joke was that bad. A little fumbled, but not bad

The Rangers response to the Freese ovation was funnier than the Mrs. Hicks eating fast balls joke.

Dodgers gifted us this game. Many thanks to them.

The best thing about Danny Mac, if you ask me, is that within the last few years he understands the power of silence and is not afraid to use it as an entertainer.
It seems like so many people, comedians, announcers, media-people are terrified of silence and "dead air" when it's actually one of the funniest things you can use (if used properly) for comedy.
I don't get it. In my (amateur) youtube voice-work I love using silence at the right times. It's funnier than anything I could ever come up with to say.

Don't know what it says about McCarver, but I completely understood and agreed with it.
