Do you agree with this list compiled by Mad Dog Russo? There was no mention of the name of a certain guy that AVERAGED .400 over a 5 year period and was the gold standard for righties for over a decade in the live ball era!

That was yesterday. Today after getting flack from the Twitter-verse for this insane gaff Russo explained that it was the Black Sox remedy "rabbit ball" era. That "era" was exactly one season: 1930 and that makes zero sense as Hornsby was the best RHH before 1930 and after!

This list is so F'd up I don't know where to start. I have no problem with the 'roid boys and the dead ball era dudes being left off, but no Frank Robinson, Hack Wilson or MEDWICK? (I'm sure there's more)

Well there is only room for 5. Who do you kick off?

(I think DiMaggio and Greenberg would be the first to drop)

I agree with Greenberg getting dropped as he, like Medwick and Hack Wilson didn't have sustained years of greatness, but OMG the RBI's he put up for about 5 years is staggering.

Let me ax you a question: You're picking a team; who do you take: Aaron or Frank Robinson?

I think he needs a couple more years to qualify for an "all time" list.
