Nice to come out of Seattle with a series win despite not playing the best ball...hopefully the stars align in good old San Fran.

If the Mariners had a bullpen they probably would have swept. The Cardinals are on a roll now, so expect another series win here.CardsofSTL wrote:Nice to come out of Seattle with a series win despite not playing the best ball...hopefully the stars align in good old San Fran.

Seattle has a bad bullpen. Thus, the Cardinals are on a roll and should take a series from a team that’s not Seattle. Makes perfect sense to me.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:Weird troll is weird.Cardinals_Spaceship wrote:If the Mariners had a bullpen they probably would have swept. Let me put it another way. Here, you're not only saying something that most people would agree with, but you're using the verb SHOULD rather than WILL--so you're qualifying the statement.cardinalsx wrote:Seattle has a bad bullpen. In other posts, you've declared absolute certainty in the third inning that a game or a series is won, and the statement isn't even qualified by "I think . . . " or "I feel really good about our chances. . . . " or "The Cardinals had better win this because Seattle's bullpen is terrible."
I say this not to offer criticism, but to explain that it's the statements of rock-solid certainty that are giving people pause--especially with a team performing so erratically as the Cardinals.

The local brew pub will have this on multiple TVs. Looking forward to some hemp ale, and runs runs runs.
