Gyorko did not have much of a purpose for the Cardinals for the rest of his contract. This was a really strange deal, but I'm not completely against saving some cash and getting a lottery ticket.

Presuming, of course, that they ever do something with the cash. Which seems increasingly unlikely each year.
They can use that cash to help pay for what they still owe to Mike Leake and Brett Cecil.

That’s like an amusement park that has a merry go round as their main attraction.
At 19 years old. He could certainly add velocity as he matures.
And it's a naturally cutting fastball. Big guy; cutting fastball; Kenley Jansen.

Jansen??? Lol ok...slow your roll

Lots of 19 year olds throw much harder than that

Look at Guys drafted out of high school and their fastball speeds

Saying a 89 mph fastball is a main attraction for a 19 year old is pretty sad
