Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports that the Rays are calling up INF/OF prospect Kean Wong.

The younger brother of Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong, Kean posted a steady .307/.375/.464 batting line with 10 home runs, 63 RBI, six stolen bases, and 71 runs scored in 113 games this season at Triple-A Durham. He also played six different positions. The 24-year-old figures to function as a super-utilityman down the stretch for Tampa Bay.

Cardinals should play the Rays next year if anyone is interested in seeing two Wongs in one game.

STORY OF THE NIGHT:

30 year old pitcher, Brian Moran, made his Major League debut tonight for the Marlins. The second batter he faced was his younger brother Colin Moran. Brian struck him out. That was cool.

Imagine as a kid somebody telling you that you were gonna make it to the Majors and the first guy you’re gonna strike out is your little brother.
