I think you need a new hobby. Life is too short.
Life is too short to not be excited about a baseball team? I don't watch much. I tune in if the kids aren't around.
Ok, that explains it. Nothing wrong with being a casual fan.

I just assume people who post in game day threads are die hards, but I shouldn’t assume that.
I've been a diehard my entire life. But you get older, have kids and realize you can't block off 4-8 p.m. on a weeknight to see if the Cardinals will score a run. There's other stuff to do.
My kids know I am crazy during September and October. I just can’t turn the intensity off. I am wired this way.

He pitched a gem.
a lot of stupid people think that but you in particular are not stupid.

Yeah, he's thrown gems in the past. This was not one of them.
Hardly anything was hit hard. Hardly anything was left in the middle of the plate. If that’s not a gem, the “gem” standard is too high.

Were we watching different games? He left a ton of pitches over the heart of the plate, the Cards just didn’t do anything with them. That was due to bad hitting, not good pitching.

13 fly ball outs. That's dangerous. It worked out well for him, because of the cold air in St. Louis............ but I doubt if it was part of the plan. I definitely wouldn't say he was "bad", but I never got the feeling that he was dominating or controlling the game.

Yea there were a couple balls hit that would have been out on a warmer night. But that also applies to the nats.

Feels like bader will prolly be in the lineup today.

Would rather randy be in there if we’re going right heavy

Brutal game to watch last night. Really going to be an uphill battle now.

I didn’t see that at all. I saw pitches at the top of the zone, which is why there were a lot of fly outs.

lol, did you at least get them as underdogs?
I don't gamble. It was all spent on booze.
