My kids know I am crazy during September and October. I just can’t turn the intensity off. I am wired this way.jagtrader wrote:I've been a diehard my entire life. I just assume people who post in game day threads are die hards, but I shouldn’t assume that.

Hardly anything was hit hard. Hardly anything was left in the middle of the plate. If that’s not a gem, the “gem” standard is too high.Socnorb11 wrote:AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote:a lot of stupid people think that but you in particular are not stupid.dmarx114 wrote:Just gotta give a lot of credit to Sanchez.
He pitched a gem.
Yeah, he's thrown gems in the past. This was not one of them.

Were we watching different games? He left a ton of pitches over the heart of the plate, the Cards just didn’t do anything with them. That was due to bad hitting, not good pitching.dmarx114 wrote:Hardly anything was hit hard. Hardly anything was left in the middle of the plate. 13 fly ball outs. That's dangerous. It worked out well for him, because of the cold air in St. Louis............ but I doubt if it was part of the plan. I definitely wouldn't say he was "bad", but I never got the feeling that he was dominating or controlling the game.

Yea there were a couple balls hit that would have been out on a warmer night. But that also applies to the nats.
Feels like bader will prolly be in the lineup today.
Would rather randy be in there if we’re going right heavy

I didn’t see that at all. I saw pitches at the top of the zone, which is why there were a lot of fly outs.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:Were we watching different games? The won with there 4th starter, not ideal start for cards...
