Jordan Hicks was apparently drawing oohs and ahs on the back fields yesterday. Brian Walton said he had never seen a cardinals pitcher dial it up 100 and 101 as many times as Hicks did yesterday (That includes Reyes, Alcantara, and Fernandez). On top of that he was mixing in a devistating low 80s curveball.

Pitching just keeps chugging along for this org. Now if only we could develop some power hitters.

Tommy John out of the way? If not, just get it over with and see you next year.

I had Hicks pretty high in my rankings. This pleases me that he's continuing his momentum.

Also, that velocity is up from when I saw him. This kid is going to make my ranking look tame next year if he keeps progressing.

I tried to find some video of Hicks, but all I saw was stuff from last year which isn't that great. Anyone have anything?
