Mo on one of the STL shows said Taveras was the only one in the minors considered untouchable essentially.

Don't think anyone should be untouchable, but I'm glad to hear the organization saying this. From what little I've seen of Taveras I'm more excited about him than any prospect in recent memory. This guy is going to be a player.

So does the Cardinals send Taveras to Arizona Fall League and then give him a good chance of making the MLB roster out of ST next year?

He needs to play every day, which he won't do right now or next year with the big league club, unless there's an injury to one of our regulars or someone is traded.

Probably right, but he will get his chances. Beltran isn't getting any younger, next year Taveras will be 21 and I would hope that he would get 150+ MLB AB's under his belt. But I would love to see him in the fall league, I assume that will be the plan. In fact I have a free plane ticket from my travel fiasco getting back from Miami last June and I might just use it to head out there and take a peek.

Berkman will most likely be gone next year so Matt Carpenter will get all the starts at 1B and 3B when Craig and Freese need a day off. Holliday, Beltran and Jay are all going to be back next year so lets say if one of those guys goes on the DL then Taveras could get a callup.
