All of the teams except Johnson City and the GCL Cardinals were off. Also apparently Danilo Sanchez has been traded to the pirates. That’s an odd move. Although he’s just roster filler, he’s very good roster filler. And it’s not like they have an over abundance of catchers in the system.

LOL at the trade comments. I don't know if they're actually getting a player back or if this is a "for cash considerations" trade. The only thing I can think of that makes sense is that they think Matt Pagnozzi can do a better job helping Bryan Anderson than Sanchez was doing.
I'm not sure if they always shut down the minors for the all-star game. At least all teams are between series.
Also, Future Redbirds has reported that Donovan Solano has been promoted to Palm Beach. That should help with the infield defense in Palm Beach.
Philip Andersen is a guy to keep an eye out for 23rd round pick from the 2004 draft he made his return from Tommy John, striking out 1 batter out of the three he faced in relief. In 2005 Andersen posted a 5-1 record with a 2.96 ERA with 86 strikeouts and 37 walks over 100.1 innings.
