Law thinks a lot more of durable pitchers with only decent stuff than a lot of prospect evaluators.

Jaime Garcia is listed as a RHP by Law, so take it for what you will.

Clearly the injury to his left elbow was more serious than we thought.MrCrowesGarden wrote:Jaime Garcia is listed as a RHP by Law, so take it for what you will.

Yup. Had him as a top-100 prospect.New Pagodi wrote:Wasn't he very high on Boggs?cpebbles wrote:Law thinks a lot more of durable pitchers with only decent stuff than a lot of prospect evaluators.
There is something to be said for durable, workhorse type starters, as long as those innings are at least league average.
The problem with Lynn is that he averaged barely over 5 innings per start last year. The talk of him being an innings eater is a bit of a myth. I'm not that high on Lynn, who doesn't bring the heat his frame would suggest he would.
