Caught the game at Principal Park in Des Moines last night. Solo homers by Lou Montanez and Jose Garcia, but that was the only offense in our 3-2 loss.Starter Scott Gorgen took a line drive to the inner thigh and had to leave the game, but Jess Todd and Adam Reifer had some solid innings in relief. I know Reifer hit 94 mph a time or two.
Adron looked good in the field, but except for a well-hit fly out in his last time up, not so much at the plate. Had a couple of Willie McGee swings, but not the triple-to-the-gap kind.
Heading out again this afternoon and Tuesday afternoon, when Shelby Miller is scheduled to pitch.
