A-ball shortstop Tyler Rahmatullah went 6 for 6 with two homers tonight.

His 6 for 6 tied a MWL record and he was named MWL player of the week for hitting 0.417:

He had been slumping a bit. His average at the end of May was .341, and it had dropped down to .301 before that game. It's now at .327.

Rahmatulla had hits in his first two at bats tonight, and overall 9 straight at bats with hits before making an out. The MWL record is 10 at bats.

Short on tools, more of a grinder type 2B'man. He's already 22, only 5-10 and bats right-handed.
Like all 2B prospects, he'll have to hit all the way up the ladder and profiles as more of a depth player. The thing is, he can hit, and those guys always have a chance.
Jumping from rookie to low-A his bb rate dropped, k rate raised and iso is down (though that takes like 500 plate appearances to be relevant). BABIP remains high for a player with his skill set at .347.

Bandits won 18-7 tonight.
Colin Walsh was 2 for 3 with 6RBI and a grand slam.
Rahmatulla, Martini, Garcia, Hill and Medina each had 3 hits. Hald threw 7 innings, 3 ER.
