I'm always hesitant to have such a new-pick-heavy list. But we can get to that later. Here's the Cardinals' Top 10 Prospects as they appear in the current issue of Baseball America, on newsstands now:
1. Oscar Taveras, OF
2. Shelby Miller, RHP
3. Carlos Martinez, RHP
4. Trevor Rosenthal*, RHP
5. Kolten Wong, 2B
6. Michael Wacha, RHP
7. Matt Adams, 1B
8. Tyrell Jenkins, RHP
9. Carson Kelly, 3B
10. Stephen Piscotty, OF
* Rosenthal remains eligible for the list because he did not surpass the innings or appearance limits for rookie classification. Joe Kelly and Matt Carpenter are not eligible for the top 10 because they are not considered rookies coming into 2013.
I would have Wacha ahead of Wong, but no need to quibble.

That's a pretty similar list to how I'd have it. I'd have Wacha ahead of Wong.

I think you've gotta bump Rosenthal ahead of Martinez. If not only because of what he did last year, but because Martinez suffered a shoulder injury. On top of that, Rosenthal seems to continue to get better so if you're picking who you'd rather have, which I think is a good way to look at these lists, then give me Rosenthal instead of Martinez in a heartbeat.
