Comments on the Cardinals:
Last year's top farm system graduated Michael Wacha, Shelby Miller, Trevor Rosenthal, Matt Adams and more. But the club still has one of the best pure hitters in the minors in Oscar Taveras and a 100mph righthander in Carlos Martinez.

Thanks for posting Jim. The Cards, Red Sox and Rangers stand out as teams that win consistently and have drafted in the bottom-half of the rounds most years but still have top 10 farm systems that produce a ton of talent. I have to say that I do envy the Red Sox ability to seemingly hit home runs with so many of their early draft picks each year.

It's interesting to see the teams that are doing well on the farm while putting winning teams on the field. That's impressive to build a system when you aren't getting the choice picks.
