Oh this is funny ... scouting report on Breyvic Valera:

" ... just two minor league batters struck out less frequently. When he connects, he gets enough loft to lift singles over the infield."

Sorry about that - yes it's risk. It's a function of both injury not reaching your potential.

Safe: Shown realistic ceiling in big leagues
Low: Likely to reach realistic ceiling
Medium: Still some work to do to turn tools into MLB-caliber skills
High: Most draft picks in their first seasons, players with plenty of projection left or
players whose injury history is worrisome.
Extreme: Teenagers in Rookie ball, players with significant injury histories or players whose struggle with key skill (control for a pitcher, plate discipline for a hitter) is a significant barrier to them ever reaching their potential.

75-80: Franchise player (Kershaw, Posey, Trout)
65-70: Perennial All-Star (Gordon, Hamels, Rendon)
55-60: First division regular (Aroldis Chapman, Ian Desmond, Chris Tillman)
50: Solid-average regular (Leake, Andrew Miller, Daniel Murphy)
45: Second division regular, utilityman (Scott Feldman, Craig Stammen)
40: Reserve (Brandon Barnes, Randy Choate)
