Re: Cardinals 12th in BA Organizational Rankings
Well, I was way off. I figured 8-10.
I also expected Colorado to be higher than 10th, and I totally missed on the Astros and Dodgers.
No shock at all about the Braves and Yankees, or White Sox for that matter.

The Marlins, Tigers, and Angels trajectories are putrid. The Tigers and Angels can overcome some of that with payroll, but it's going to kill the Marlins to continue producing that type of talent.

I think Goold said we might have dropped because of Reyes' injury. Otherwise we would have been top 10JL21 wrote:Well, I was way off. I figured 8-10.

I wondered about that.Fat Strat wrote:I think Goold said we might have dropped because of Reyes' injury. Otherwise we would have been top 10
I'll get the BA Prospect Handbook soon, and it went to press before the injury. It'll be the litmus test.

I got the book today. They were 12th there, and it specifically cites Reyes as a contributor. Sooooo... I think they may have been lower if they readjusted after the injury.Fat Strat wrote:I think Goold said we might have dropped because of Reyes' injury.
