SO MUCH RH PITCHING

Post by salukifan2 »

We thought the 2013 class was loaded with RH talent, but this next crop may put that to shame.

Between Reyes, Weaver, Alcantara, Flaherty, Hudson, Jones, Gallen, Fernandez, Woodford, D. Gonzales, Helsley, Ronnie Williams, Jordan Hicks, Alvaro Seijas, and Johan Oviedo every one of them (except D gonzales and Helsley) is capable of being a top 100 prospect.

Then behind them are really talented pitchers like the rest of the guys in AAA not named Weaver plus Killichowski, Tewes, Oxnevad, Gomber there is so much to be excited by in terms pitching in the org. High end pitching at that.

I was an outspoken supporter of using 2017 to rebuild, and be ok with not competing for the playoffs by trading guys who dont fit long term and signing guys like Gourriel Jr and Luis Robert. The FO didn't see it that way and maybe these pitchers are why. Thy will definitely be what I pay closest attention to this season outside of the big club!
