To each, their own, I s'pose. I liked them (as an occasional throwback uni only)

Those uniforms are fine 3 times a season, anymore and it would be overkill. Kind of wish that's what the Cardinals would do with the powder blues uniforms and not having them eevery road Saturday game(got those things are ugly).

But is it just me or is Allen currently playing better than Binnington? Not saying that Binnington isn't the better goalie since he's a Stanley Cup winning goalie. Just stating that in the last week or so that Allen has been better.

Yes, Allen has been off the charts good the last couple of weeks while Binnington has just been good-but-not-great.

The last couple of weeks Allen has been like, best in the league good. He's got his season gaa and save% as basically the same as Binner. Allen at 2.35 gaa and 92.6% and Binner at 2.3 gaa and 92.5%. And that's after a pretty rough start to the season for Allen.

He seems to do well as a backup/shared time type of guy. Win-win for the Blues. He wins us games and gives us injury insurance, and raises his potential trade value. His contract as a starter is a good deal for some team out there looking to take a flyer on talent.

Though I'd argue Binner had a couple of pretty great games himself in the last few weeks.

Oof, not a good one to go for what is likely my only attended game of the year. Down 4-1 halfway through the 1st and it didn't get better. The guy on the back of my jersey gets pulled.

But man I still have that Stanley Cup hangover. Normally I'd be pretty bummed by this. Instead I'm like, "oh well, can't win em all."

Colorado has 2 games in hand, though. They would overtake the top with wins in those.

Considering the injury to Tank and the general way they’ve played, I’ll take what I can get. It is impressive to come off of the Cup run and be racking up points like this the following season.

After the long season and these injuries. Just get into the playoffs. That's all that matters. Get in and catch lightning.
