It's a different league now. Not even the same game.

Don't think I've watched an NBA game since the early, early 90's.

PS: No love for Magic? :D

He was a Laker. Not much love here.

Maybe I'm just looking through nostalgic eyes, but it seems to me the NCAA was so much more fun then also. Of course teams were able to stay together longer. I remember the Laetner's and Ferry's but also the lesser ones.
Anybody remember Shakin' Bakin' Mark Macon at Temple, or Jeff Grayer lighting it up at Iowa State, shoot even the thought of the Shark chewin on his towel makes me smile. (of course it helps that Mizzou was in the middle of it's greatest stretch Stipo and Sundvold to Chievous to Smith to Peeler to Crudup to Melvin Booker and the Mad Bomber Paul O'linney to Sutherland and Grimm.

Would you get mad at me if I added Grawer to that list???

The late 80's Tigers were a lot of fun. They might have taken five years off Norm's life though. Lots of characters with Sandbothe, Church, Gary "Socrates" Leonard, Byron Irvin and Derrick Chievous and his famous bandaid.

I'll add Jim Les and Hersey Hawkins as Bradley's guard duo along with Dick Versace's sideline shows.

And Bradley's David Thirdkill making Loyola's Alfredrick Hughes go 1 for 21 one night.

No, no love for Magic, or any other Laker.

Forgot about Clyde the Glide, though. Add him to the list.

How could you not like how the Spurs and Pistons play?

There is something to be said about the Pistons' consistent style of team play. Everyone has their role and plays it well.

However, they don't get up and down the court.

They scored, what....74 pts last night?
