Rams Trade for Dantle Hall

Post by Bo Hart »

5th round pick.

-- ESPN

He's not what he used to be but I think it's a decent trade. He's still a very explosive return man.

I'm not surprised that the Chiefs moved Hall.

He's played his best football.

I would not be surprised if Hall does not survive training camp. He isn't good enough to justify a spot on an NFL roster based on his recieving skills.

The Rams don't seem to be very good at blocking on returns either.

I was shocked at how we got him for only a fifth, made me wonder if he was healthy.

As a HUGE Chiefs fan, thank you RAMS. Dante burned out 2 years ago, after his "human joystick" phase. He spends most of his returns dancing trying to make the big play instead of running north and south. Hes undersized as a WR and will not be very valuable on the offensive side of the ball.

I'm also a Chiefs' fan...

Dante isn't what he used to be, but he can still catch a few passes and break away every now and then. He would be valuable as a 5th receiver on turf. I think he'll be decent as a return man on turf.

I'm very glad to have the extra draft pick.

After that trade I don't see how the Dolphins can expect to get Green for a 7th round pick. If a 4th string WF/KR is a 5th, then Green is not a 7th.

Dante Hall was a more recent version of Az Hakim.

Both players shone extremely bright for about 15 mins. Then, moved on.

To be honest, I'd rather have Az right now than Hall.
