Too bad. That Jones-Lesnar fight would've gotten my money.

Bold claim, but possible.
Ngannou is the new hotness and I'm on the bandwagon with everyone else.

Re: MMA Thread II
He's a damn freight train and Stipe is a quick, accurate and devastating counter puncher with excellent footwork and overlooked, nearly elite wrestling.
I just think Ngannou rushes forward and stipe tags him, takes him down and ground and pounds him.
Full disclosure, I thought Overeem would be too crafty for FN, too, so what do I know? I'm super excited for the fight though.

Re: MMA Thread II
Ngannou's rep is hes a patient counter puncher too. You see it the Overeem video I posted.
Stipe is going to be a huge test, however. It's going to be interesting to see how Ngannou deals with his experience and versatility.
BTW, that Ngannou video is one of the most devastating hits I've ever seen. It's terrifying and cartoonish all at the same time.

Re: MMA Thread II
I'm going with Cormier wins with a technically impressive, but boring, unanimous decision. I expect Oezdemir to be pressed up against the cage and on his back squirming around for most of the fight.
Vintage Cormier.
I actually love Cormier. For someone who is so successful his career is weirdly tragic.

Re: MMA Thread II
BTW, I read an article about the Ngannou vs Stipe fight that I thought made a good point. There's questions about Ngannou stamina so Stipe's best strategy might be to try and use all 5 rounds to wear Ngannou down. That makes sense to me.

Don't know if you watch these, but Hardy is always very informative.
