I thought a lot of you here might appreciate this. Some people thought the Edgar vs. Henderson was a close fight. Well, here are the fight metrics:

A few new fight announcements:

Gray Maynard vs. Clay Guida on an FX card in June.

Rich Franklin vs. Cung Le on the early July card that's headlined by Cruz vs. Faber III.

Anderson Silva finally looks motivated to fight someone.

The stare down is somewhere on this page. It's pretty awesome. Sonnen is clearly under Silva's skin and that might actually work in favor of Sonnen.

Or he could slip to the mat on a [expletive] spinning backfist, then screw himself over sliding himself right into the chains.

I liked how Silva invited him to a BBQ after the fight.

Really hope we saw GSP's last fight last night, for his sake. He's too great of a fighter to ruin his brain down the road. We want him around as an ambassador.

This is a great article about Saturday's fight and Dana White's reprehensible reaction: http://deadspin.com/the-end-of-georges- ... 1466179060

Related: Dana was an effective face for an up and coming organization, but as the most relevant promotion in the fight game, it's high time the Zuffa's told that [expletive] jock wannabe [expletive] head to shut up and stay away from microphones. They don't need a hype man, they need a CEO. Dana White is a hype man.

++ to all your points.

I hope GSP is alright. Dude was a stud, well - still is, and I hope he can exit the arena without any long term repercussions, as unlikely as that is. It certainly sounded like he was suffering some brain trauma Saturday night b/w the blacking out, confusion and emotions.

Deadspin poses the question, seriously or not I don't know, if Ronda Rousey could take Floyd Mayweather? She says her strategy would be to army crawl over to him and try to take him down. Am I the only one who thinks he would just kick her in the head and uh that would be all of the fight?
