Watched the McGregor presser. MMA is a garbage sport.

I love the actual fights, I can't stand all the bs though. Not trying to be the old guy yelling at the sky but, just fight ,talking proves nothing.

Yes, it's still trashy as hell and they're doing nothing to change that.lukethedrifter wrote:Watched the McGregor presser. MMA is a garbage sport.

I have no idea what's going to happen in the fight tomorrow. Conor, more than any other fighter I've ever watched, seems to defy predictions in both good ways and bad.

It's such a pick em I think. I could see either guy winning. I'm hoping for a war but don't think it'll happen

Re: MMA Thread II
I've watched more analysis on this fight than I've ever have on any other MMA fight in the past. I've really gained a deeper appreciation of the sport.
Anyway, I'm rooting for Khabib but I'm picking Conor to win it. However I say that with no confidence what so ever. My personal odds are something like 55% vs 45%. My reasoning for picking Conor is I just think this patience and take down defense has been next level due to his adjustments after the Mendes and the 1st Diaz fight. Consequently I think Khabib is going to struggle pressing Conor to the cage and ground without taking serious damage.
In summary my predictions are never correct so the smart money is Khabib.

That went full crusades really quick. I hope Khabib isn’t stripped but this clearly went beyond promotion for his crew. These guys live violence and are from a different culture. Totally different world man. Culture aside, that cornerman was a real punk for sucker punching Conor.
I think Tony Ferguson is probably Khabib’s hardest matchup. That dude is legit as [expletive] and has an amazing game off his back. That fight needs scheduled ASAP.

Everyone knew something was going to happen. I just didn't expect McGregor or Khabib to be involved directly in any way.MAGA wrote:That went full crusades really quick

That was an easy 2k. Fight should have been stopped about a minute into the 2nd.InvincibleCakeEater wrote:He's gonna get his ass whipped.
