http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/113945279.htmlThe Milwaukee Iron of the Arena Football League is planning to rebrand itself as the Milwaukee Mustangs when the season begins in early March.
Mustangs is the name of the original arena football franchise in Milwaukee. The Mustangs played at the Bradley Center from 1994 to 2001.
Team owners are planning a news conference later this month to announce the rebranding and release of the new team logo.
AFL Commissioner Jerry Kurz declined to comment on the change.
Iron officials did not return calls seeking comment.
The Iron reached the National Conference championship last season, losing to the Spokane Shock.
