I thought Pinkel was having a stroke.
Also, Copeland looks like the world's fattest vampire about to feed on Gary Pinkel.

Kony Ealy officially declared for the draft. Not too surprising after last night.

I was kind of surprised to hear Ealy has a first round grade. Sam and Golden stood out to me more than him this year.
Also losing Sam, Wilson, Gaines and Ponder on defense to graduation. And Franklin, Lucas, Washington and half the OL on offense. Lots of holes to fill.

I feel good about their depth in replacing a few of those. Namely, Sam, Wilson, Franklin, and to a lesser degree, the OL. Lucas and Washington will be very tough to replace, although Copelin, Sasser, Hunt, and White are capable. At least one will have to step up big time there.
Gaines is irreplaceable. Penton and Gibson looked really good for freshmen this year and I think they have higher upside than Ponder, but there'll be some growing pains.
Josey is a wild card there, too. If he goes pro, that's a hit to the RB depth.
In almost all cases, they've got capable and talented players to step in for those players leaving, but they all need experience. And someone else needs to fill in for the replacements to give them adequate depth.

They should have a good shot at winning the East again next season. Florida's a mess and Georgia and SC are both also losing a lot of key players to the draft.JL21 wrote:I feel good about their depth in replacing a few of those.
