For some strange reason, I have this in my photobucket acct. Probably from an ancient, obscure thread. The Third Man wrote:Dick Groat played in both the NBA and MLB. He was even a two-time All-American and a National Player of the Year at Duke, which I knew, but I didn't realize he had the one season in the NBA until I looked him up just now.

Re: Sports Trivia
Packers is my guess. Unless the Canton, OH team to someplace like Chicago. Maybe the Bears?
Edit: Wrong and wrong - but they are the 2nd and 3rd oldest.

Re: Sports Trivia
The Bears started as the Decatur Staleys in 1920 but then moved to Chicago the following year and then became the Bears. Interesting that there was teams in NYC named after the Dodgers, Giants and Yankees baseball teams but the Giants were the only of the teams to survive long term.
What professional football quarterback has the most yards passing in his pro playing career.

Jim Thorpe
Decatur Staleys [expletive] Chicago Bears is not the correct answer.
