College Football Pickem Contest?

Post by slide_into_first »

If enough people are interested I would like to start a contest again. Thanks to AWbeerstrike for doing it last year.

Is there anything that would make it better? Should every game be required, no one can join late? Should we do point spreads? Or should it be as before, straight up winners and you have to pick at least 80% of the regular season to qualify?

Should it be limited to the big 5 conferences only?

I would appreciate any input. The first weekend is Aug 30 and Wisconsin vs LSU will be one.

Its a pretty time consuming job, I'm not going to lie which is why I fizzled out around the time of my wedding. Glad you can handle it much better than I could. I'm in!!

IIRC, I tried to follow your format last year SIF. A few off the radar but 'close' games and just a straight up pickem (which is way better than ATS, imo, because ATS is just a coin flip).
