I am a bit of a golf geek. I am interested to see how Fox does covering the event.

That's a fairway?? Seriously, at first glance I thought he was walking on a dirt path.

Tiger shoots 80 in his first round. Fowler, playing with Woods, shoots an 81. Their trio was a combined +27, if I remember correctly.

The course looks intimidating enough, and then a train can run by while you're on the tee or green on several holes. The greens look pretty terrible.

Even though the leaders are at -5, I'd have to guess that by Sunday the leader will be closer to even par.

Yup - and the kid says of Tiger "One of my first golf memories is him winning the US Open on a broken leg."

His first memory is Tiger's last major.

Tiger's time is gone. A memory. History.

Damn, heartbreaker for Dustin Johnson. Driver, 5 iron into a 600 yarder... 3-putt from 12 feet.
