Krzyzewski deserves some credit for 30+ years of a national power when the entire roster turns over every 3-4 years.

As much as it pains me to say it, it's probably Belicheck. He's done more with less over a longer stretch than anyone I can think of.

And this might be blasphemy, but from baseball, I'm not even sure LaRussa is the best of our era. You could make an argument for Torre and Bochy as well.

Couldn't you also make the same argument about LaRussa tho? He won alot of games with some pretty mediocre teams/players

Absolutely, that can be said. But I just have a hard time saying TLR out-classes Torre and Bouchy. So it's hard for me to say he's the Greatest Of Our Generation.

I went with Popovich. I read somewhere that the Spurs have the best record of any sports franchise in North America over the last 15 years. He's also got the 5 titles to show that he can finish the job regularly. All the while, his teams have managed to avoid negative P.R. or lingering "black eyes" (like Spygate or steroids, for example).
