CFB Championship game

Post by Maclowery »

I am pseudo rooting for Bama, in support of a passionate Alabama friend.

What in the sam hell is going on with the camera work? Shaky cam, off-angle cam, way-zoomed-in cam, rapid cuts to all these faces. Just broadcast the god damn game, ESPN.

Clemson is doing whatever they want on offense. This is shaping up to be a good one.

Tied at 24 with 10 minutes to go. The playoff definitely gave us the two best teams this year.

Whoa. That onside kick was a ballsy call and perfectly executed. Surprised Saban would take that gamble.

Think Clemson's KR setup made it not so much of a gamble.

As a fan of an entertaining good game, Clemson's defensive lapses were inexcusable.

Take away special teams, and Clemson sure looked every bit as good and probably better than Alabama. In the second half, they pretty much stopped Alabama's running game. They let 88 run wild, which obviously props to Alabama's coaches for identifying that and all, but who'd a thunk he'd have a monster game? No one.

The onsides kick and kick return were huge. Without those plays, I think you're looking at a different outcome.

Alabama deserves a lot of praise, but after watching the game, it's tough to say Alabama wins that game more than 50% of the time. They won it the only time it matters though, and props to them for that. But, Clemson was a damn good team and that offense was lethal.
