No old XFL type rules. No cheerleaders. No politics.

Still coming up with ideas on how to show games - network, cable - streaming...

LOL. No politics--but you must stand for the national anthem.

When they say 2 hour game length, do they mean they are looking to shorten game lengths, or the total game clock is going to be for 2 hours rather than 1? The former seems really short. The latter seems really long.

It's the former. They want total run time to be about two hours.

8 teams, 40 man rosters. that's 320. lets give each team 10 "extra players" for tryouts and injuries. that's 400. are there really 400 more NFL fringe players out there? i guess, yes, technically, but how far is the drop?

i realize people go [expletive] nuts for football but seems like talent goes a long way for fan interest, eh? i mean, didn't rockies and tampa bay rays get players from other teams/organizations? at least that's obtaining players who had reached a certain level/expectation.

I have a friend speculating that Vince plans to throw crazy money at a few good players, the NFL sees him as a threat and then cuts him some kind of deal to buy the Panthers (Linda is from NC.)
