Schwartz with the hat trick, Perron scores his 20th, and Maroon has suddenly become a scoring machine.

Barring a total collapse, the Blues seem to pretty much have a lock on either the 2 or 3 seed. The odds of facing Trashville are getting higher and higher. Unless Winnipeg folds and they drop to 2 or 3, but that's probably not very likely either. As much as I hate the Preds, it should be a good series, and I kind of like our chances if we're healthy and playing the way we have been since January 1.

Last night's game provided a pretty cool feat. Steen got his 600th point, which puts him and his dad in an exclusive club. Father/Son duos where both players had at least 600 career points. The other three pairs?
[SHOW]
- Bobby & Brett Hull
- Gordy & Mark Howe
- Peter & Paul Stastny

And other than the Howe duo, the sons all played for the Blues for a time along with one of the dad's (Peter). Apparently if a father/son duo wants to each score 600 points, one of you has to play for the Blues at least one season.

Let's see if one of the Tkachuk boys can put up a 600 point career and the Blues will have a solid connection to the fifth father/son duo to ever put up that many points. With two kids in the NHL, he's got double the chance!

Man beating Tampa Bay twice is impressive. With 7 games left we are basically a lock to play Nashville, which I feel good about. Home Ice is up for grabs in that round, but all I care about is staying healthy until the playoffs.

Bernie had an incredible stat on his show this morning. The Blues are 19-9-2 (if I heard/remember right) against the top 12 teams in the NHL. I believe that even includes the dreadful first three months!
That's a great stat.
