But what do you do if you have to take sides with Pop vs Kerr?

Kerr is a classic "SIR HAVE YOU NO HONOR OR DECENCY" Evan McMullin-retweeter neo-liberal resistance guy. When it comes down to it, he's not building any guillotines. Pop all day.

The Nuggets announced that Michael Porter Jr. had surgery on his lumbar spine in Dallas.
This announcement comes one day after the report he had surgery last week, and the official release is only 35 words -- that's low for a team release on an injury. The Nuggets said there is no timetable for a return, but Porter Jr. is reportedly hoping to play this season. At this point, he basically has no re-draft value this season.

There's almost no chance that he plays this season. The Nuggets are hoping for Embiid -2 at this point.

Thunder dump Carmelo's salary to the Hawks for Schroeder and Muscala, Hawks buy Melo out.

Dump for dump.

OKC could have stretched Melo at like $9MM a year for a few years, instead they take on Schroder, who I have no idea how he fits on that team as anything other than Guy Who Handles Ball The 8 Minutes/Game Russ Is Not On The Floor. Schroder's usage had to be over 30% last year, and as a scoring PG who can't play D and isn't a good distributor he provides......?

This is what happens, Larry. This is what happens when you contract a player under a cap.

This could probably go in a political thread too, but I just think Lebron is the greatest.
