Kill the corner three, easy fix. It's an efficiency until it's taken away, then teams have to find the next one.

And with one calf strain we have indisputable evidence that Kevin Durant ruined the league. People may actually watch now that it could be competitive.

Honestly hard to argue at this point. The worst part of the Durant thing is that he killed competition, but the second worst is easily the damage he did to their offensive chemistry. The splash brothers were special and adding an iso player to the mix ruined a completely unique dynasty.

Offseason going to be exciting. For the first time since whenever, I have no idea who the favorite will be next year.

If he jumps out of a wheelchair to play in game 6 I'm going to see what that one on ice with the flat, hard ball is all about.

It's honestly really easy to argue at since the way this seems to work is....

You take a subjective opinion, you assume everyone shares your opinion and it must be popular, you don't bother with any objective measures just go with the ol' gut opinion and instinct.

The opinion then is: "I don't like Kevin Durant and think he ruined the league. No one watches the NBA Playoffs because Kevin Durant ruined the league."

But.

Only 45.3% of NBA viewership on YouTube comes from the US and it's incredibly popular in Brazil, the Philippines, Italy, France, Argentina, etc. and those countries drive the popularity of the game to new highs every year, even when there is a decline of a million or two root-for-laundry American homer "fans" who don't watch because there's no big market team in the mix.

Even last year, the fourth straight season of Dubs-Cavs, Game 1 of the Finals had 17,670,000 Compare that to Spurs-Cavs a little over a decade ago, in LeBron's first finals, which didn't have a single game hit 10 million. Or to Knicks-Rockets, which went a full seven and didn't even get game 7 to the same number as watched Dubs-Cavs Game 1 last year.

1993 Bulls - Suns, the then-GOAT v Barkley the MVP and most entertaining personality in the league? Peaked at 18 million viewers in Game Six. Game Five of the first year KD was on the Dubs? Over 24.7 million viewers.

Any significant decline year over year in playoffs viewers is from the game's most famous player being absent, not Kevin Durant.

Sounds so very MAGA Bro though, to come up with a bad opinion based on an easily disprovable belief.

It’s halftime Game 7, so probably something crazy will happen in the 2nd half to prove this wrong but..

Logo Lillard is gassed. Everything is hitting the front of the rim. He’s not used to playing 100+ game seasons and that’s a big difference between guys like KD, Curry, Kawhi, LeBron, and others who go deep year after year and guys who don’t go deep. Dame needs to work on conditioning this off-season so he’s not out of steam in the conference semis next year. He’s too important to his team to not have something left in the tank. The Nuggets are still playing with energy, CJ and Kanter still are at full intensity and full speed, and Lillard has looked out of sorts all but one game this series.
