Another OT win. That 3-on-0 was so cool though

Wins are wins are wins are wins... and the Blues had a -4 goal diff in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Yes they are. Until over a long season goal diff ends up meaning something. Then some of the wins become OT losses.JCShutout wrote:Wins are wins are wins are wins... and the Blues had a -4 goal diff in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Anyway, I’m not worried but it’s silly not to pay attention to it.

They know to score at the right time. And, if you lose, lose big!

Re: 2019-2020 St Louis Blues Hockey Season
I actually came to this thread specifically to ask about the goal differential. Too funny.
The Blues are near the top of the league in points (third with 23 at the moment, with the Bruins at 24 and Capitals at 25), but there are 14 teams with a better goal differential. The Bruins are tops at +20. I haven't followed hockey enough to have a firm stance, but I'm curious if this kind of anomaly is viewed as something that portends bad things for the Blues this season. Namely, does this mean they're significantly overperforming right now?

It means Jake Allen gives up a lot of goals when he plays.
We'll see how he does tonight. I assume he's starting as it's back to back...
