I'm about ready to leave work, pick up a 12 pack of bud, grab a lawn chair and start getting trashed outside of CF. Would I get arrested for that?

On a normal day? Yes. Today? No way in hell.

I can't find the pic I wanted but both of these have their place in GRB lore, I offer up these in tribute

For I am but a simple caveman. I can't understand your fancy modern posts about sabermetrics. I just know that the cardinals rule all.

It's good to see most Rangers fans recognize it's a stupid article

Here's hoping that Carpenter isn't blowing smoke when he says that he learned something about pitching on short rest.

I saw what you did there.

Strauss says it's set, Carp gets the start, Fire up the cigs now. Who has that photoshop pic?

What does he smoke? I might have to pick up a pack to go with my case of bud.

Today is a party! Today feels special, like nothing I've felt before. I went for coffee and some good bs at the coffee shop a few doors down from my office this morning and the place was electric at 7am! Hell when I woke up this morning to my gf's alarm clock she rolled over and kissed me on the check and said "game 7 today." with a smile. Even the tree across the street has it's cardinal red leaves on for the game today.

I posted this int he other thread but who is available tonight and likely to be effective? This is the list I came up with:
STL:
Jackson, Lohse, Carp, Rhodes, Dotel, Zep, Westbrook, Lynn(?)
Tex:
Harrison, Wilson, Holland, Ogando, Oliver, Feldman, Gonzalez

Obviously game 7 everyone is "available" but I don't think you expect Garcia or Motte or Salas to hope to be effective.
