i dont remember the whole story (someone here will) but one of his daughters...or maybe wife...was in a play and they somehow got him to perform in it.

Middle finger to who(m)? The players that won him another World Series (with his help and sometimes despite his "help", of course)

...if the players were thinking what most of us here were thinking, I think Tony really did have a tough year with his in-game managment.
