Come on.maddash wrote:You simply abstain from those votes. How fun is a tourney where you don't know many of the bands anyway?Leroy wrote:Well what are you supposed to do if you've never heard of the other band...just drop out of voting?
Gosh, stupid people vote in this country every November.
Let's say my favorite band is Night Ranger. They set them against say, The Sex Pistols, of who I know not one song.
Night Ranger is still my favorite band. I would vote for them.

burkenator, that's why I like this board. It's very diverse in age groups that I can tell. There's a lot of youngsters, a lot of middle of the roaders (like me), and a lot of older folks (and by that I mean middle aged and above). If you're going to hold a Greatest Rock Band tourney, you need all parties represented, right?burkenator2 wrote:Man..ZZ top looks like its gonna win...Is everyone on this board like getting ready to retire??

And that's your right. I'm not saying it isn't your right. I'm just saying you're not making a fair comparison, and if you're cool with not making a fair comparison... again, that's your right.Leroy wrote:Come on.maddash wrote:You simply abstain from those votes. Like you said about November, people have voted on much bigger issues with much less info. And this tourney is just for fun, so I need to just turn my fairness meter off for a while (it's just hard for me to do).
