they're probably doing it because Phillips is harping on it and asked them to put together a package.

Clueless.

If the gun was right, everyone's stuff was off. That didn't hurt Reyes.

I never could've imagined tonight going this way. This was HUGE. Gambling with Reyes going in game 1 has paid off big time. Now our rotation is set up for normal rest all the way through. HUGE HUGE HUGE!!!

BBTN just said that Reyes threw 22 of 29 first pitch strikes. Awesome.

His location was awesome tonight. Great focus for our new starting pitcher next year.

I just saw the post-game interview with Verlander. I want to give a big applause to the majority of the Tigers team and Jim Leyland. They are nothing but class acts and even if it's just a front are at least giving credit to the Cards for their win.

I still think AP was right about Glavine in Game 1, his curve wasn't in the zone and his fastball was flat. The Cards hit him hard and the balls didn't drop. But regardless of how Detroit really felt they did treat this team with respect, no matter how much better the Tigers are.

If we lose this series I'm happy to lose to a young, class act team like this.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what a game. How bout them 3, 4 and 5 hitters? The big boys look hungry for that ring. I've got a good feeling about this.

This could be Edmonds' last shot.

He's gonna get the ring, hell or high water.

With us facing a lefty tonight, it won't be JimE, and with the way JuanE has been swinging (if you can call it that) the last couple weeks, I think you can almost guarantee he'll bat cleanup.

I think it'll be:
Eck
Speezer
AP
Rolen
Juan/Jimmy
Jimmy/Juan
Belly
Molina
The Gooch
