GRB Fantasy Football league discussion thread
TFG has the second highest scoring week going with 94.
Unfortunately he played your boy here who scored 140. Unless Shayne Graham goes OFF tonight, he gone.
Thanks Romo, Andre Johnson and Plax Burress.

I need a big night from Carson Palmer. If he's just a bit better than the yahoo "projection", I'll sneak by. If he sucks, I'm dead in the water.

Don't forget the 20 points from the Steelers defense, and 20 points from 1st round pick Joseph Addai.
As for my team, I am down ~8 points. I have Alex Smith, Edgerrin James, and Vernon Davis going tonight. My opponent (Mary I believe) has the 49ers defense. So I've got a good shot at netting my first win of the season. It sure helps having the Vikings defense and its 29 points, consider Steven Jackson put up 2.1 and Deuce McAllister put up 4.5.
On the plus side, I am very happy with my bench moving forward (Brandon Marshall @ WR; Brandon Jackson & Adrian Peterson (Minnesota, not Chicago) @ RB).

Any for the pathetic game of the week:
I'm up 44.66 to 40.78 over the Loose seals.
I have Rudi Johnson, Willis McGahee and Matt Stover going tonight.
Seals have Chad Johnson, Frank Gore and Darrell Jackson.
What hurts me is my RB and K will be competing for scores tonight. I'd say advantage to the seals.

Poor TimeforGuiness, he's suffering a Cardinals vs. Diamondbacks loss.
I'll be giving him a real run for his 2nd top scoring rung tonight. I still have the Baltimore defense and Mark Clayton left to go, projected to boost the team to 103. TfG has a projection of 102.
Sorry Planet, but I'm gonna stick a fork in ya.

Sorry, Admiral, but if my predictions hold true, I will be landing at 110 for the week. And that would include the whopping 7 points from Steven Jackson and Deuce McAllister. I still think your team is my biggest threat, even with thrill's 140 points (Romo and Burress are not gonna have 64 and 48 TD seasons, respectively).
I just wish I'd started Adrian Peterson...

Yeah, my trio of sad sack running backs combined for a total < 10. That's like the Cards trying to win the pennant with their starting pitching.AdmiralKird wrote:Poor TimeforGuiness, he's suffering a Cardinals vs. Diamondbacks loss.

Romo can go to hell...he went off last night.
As for Graham...I'm predicting at least 7/50+ yard FG's tonight.
