I didn't activate Dotel on time, had Haren on the bench yesterday. That cost me innings. I lost by 3 innings.

had one league where I led 8-2/7-3 the whole 2 weeks, then yesterday fell to 4-5-1 because my offense decided to stop hitting over the last 4 days and I blew my leads. The only time the other guy was ahead in cats the entire scoring peroid was after Pedroia scored a run last night breaking that tie.

Back to the question about Zimmerman, would you effectively substitute Vlad for Zimmerman in your lineup if you could given Zimmerman's uncertain injury status?

Sure. Vlad gets the non-cc part of the Yankees rotation, then the Tribe, who look like they've pitched well but have also played a series against a slumping Boston team and another v a terrible Seattle team. The White Sox lit the Tribe up, and the Os have the potential to do the same next weekend.

Early season brag...

I traded Hanley (3 years) + Longoria (walk year) for a bunch of early round draft picks in our keeper league FA draft (thin pool).

Then flipped those picks for 1st overall so i could pick up Tulo.

People were sure i was clinically insane.

Looks like it's working out for me thus far.

Although, like you i also have carlos santana. I had high hope for him this year. Sigh.

I have Santana too. But I'm not panicking yet. He's not striking out a lot, his walk rate is good, and his BABIP is only .203. He'll come around.

The guy who's killing me is Beckham. He has 3 hits since tax day. He's had a low BABIP but he's also striking out 4 times more than he's walking, and just looks lost.

I've gotten fairly lucky so far with Berkman and Kinsler having great and decent starts respectively...I'm trying to flip them and Jurrrrrrrrjens while the going is good. Not sure how that's gonna work...
