I think this is a good thing because it forces the EU to restructure the organization. At least I think it will.

They need to. At the same time, this is Europe, and this is a bureaucracy. I expect nothing to change in the EU, which will try to exact as much pain as possible from the UK to prevent other defectors.

In the short term, it's much more likely that the UK will restructure (by becoming smaller) than the EU will. That said, the current course of the EU seems to be towards collapse, and despite numerous events that strongly suggested a major change of course was needed, there seems to be no sign of or willingness to consider it. And the post referendum noise looks no better with statements that amount to, "don't let the door hit you on the way out."

No doubt falling back on the $600k wisdom of hrod17, even as she holds hands in triumphant poses with Liz Warren, the markets picked up pretty well today.

After voting to leave the EU, the UK is now likely to vote for a Prime Minister that was against leaving and is pro-EU.

Makes sense.

Also, one of the leading backers for leaving, Johnson, who was set to be the next Prime Minister withdrew yesterday after his campaign manager, Gore, said Johnson was not a true leader and then entered the race. Bananaland

Really. And I'd like to thank them for bringing my 401K back to where it was before the vote so quickly. Their embarrassing behavior has convinced the markets Brexit isn't really going to happen it looks like. What a joke.

Hillary's a conniving [expletive], but she's a competent conniving [expletive] with decades of experience with the other conniving bastards on the world stage who, for the most part, respect her. She'll do fine out there unlike the bozo brigade of the likes of Nigel, Boris, and The Donald.
