He'd fit in well with our Missouri conservative legislators.

Not to say I agree with any of what was in that post but to condense what was written into that tweet just seems disingenuous

I don't remember there being a caveat on "your tired, your poor..." but I guess Schilling knows history better than me :)

Not really. "Anyone doing anything resembling yesterday", which is as vague a statement as could possibly be, is to be treated as an "enemy combatant" (a term dreamed up by the last Republican President, I think, with a very different basis in international law?) and can be killed. I'm not seeing a great deal of nuance there.

I did like how he hates Government to such an extent that he wants private contractors to build "the wall". After the whole "police confiscating stuff" has been subject to exposes by people like John Oliver, I'm not sure I'd be relying on that money either (but I admit there might have been changes to the system since the last time I read about it).

Perhaps we should look at why this particular terrorist threat started, and try and remove the reasons for its growth, rather than implement ever-more-draconian policies to stop the end result of it. A bit less hysteria and a bit more understanding might be a good idea.

On one hand it exaggerated one thing, on the other it didn't quite capture all the awfulness.

Schilling would not allow you to fly into the US. Am I reading that right, Mort?

Should it stay the way it is (if so, why?), or should there be a caveat? That question is for anyone.

I don't see a reason we should add further restrictions to our current immigration policies.

Is there a particular caveat you had in mind?

I'm stealing a fellow NSBer's work with the formatting, but the whole sequence is too good not to share.

Spoiler: show
