Yeah - it's like he wondered how much he could rub working class people's nose in his [expletive]. Insulting.

Yeah, but you know if he were impeached his followers would go further down the rabbit hole of Qanon conspiracy theory alt-right nonsense. It would all be a setup by Soros and the Clintons and Obama and AOC and Tlaib and Omar and their friends.

Much better, at this point, for him to get his ass kicked in 20 months.

[expletive] them. No changing those pusses with overactive amygdalas. They are mostly aged dumbarses on the backwash end of life.

And Winning an election isn't a given. lots of cards these asswipes can play, and of course democrat [expletive] ups as well. And the jackass libertarians and fringe party voters- for [expletive] sake..

How about US doing the simple and right thing? It isn't that complicated.
Impeach this piece of orange [expletive].

There is no limit to how much he can do it and they will take it. They will say we need a bigger military, and medicare is socialism. Medicaid is for the poor, they should just go get jobs. Science, pfft don't need that fake news.

BTW Trump is winning again in 2020. So revolt or watch America die. Those are the choices.

Nothing matters anymore George.

Take it up with Mitch McConnell or you are wasting your breath. (Although you'd still be wasting your breath.)

I get it, I really do. I'd love to see him impeached, removed, then put in handcuffs en route from the White House to the helicopter. But it won't happen. And I don't mean that in a "The Sky Is Gray We Will Never Have Democracy Again" kind of way. I mean that even if a house committee today started hearings on impeachment, and it got to a vote, then went to the Senate, and there were lawyers and hearings and subpoenas and legal stuff, that would not come to a conclusion before the 2020 election, given our current political climate of hyper-partisan Republicans who control the Senate and feed off lies, ignorance, voter suppression to keep people from what they want, etc.

Also what happens, if Trump is under impeachment? Does the GOP run a primary candidate against a sitting POTUS facing impeachment proceedings? Does that rally or not rally voters to support Trump? My guess is they dig their heels in and vote Trump, because Republicans are demonstrably ignorant, stubborn, foolish, hard-headed, alt-right wackjobs nowadays and they'd rather do the fundamentalist thing than the practical/just/normal(LOL like "normal" is a thing anymore) thing. This is where that poll question that pioneer posted comes into play, the kind of POTUS you'd want. As Dems, we'd be like "yo he should not run for a second term, our integrity and dignity and self-respect and democracy and civilization are more important than the divisive criminal we chose a few years ago. Sorry, world, that was our bad and we will pick again." The GOP does not think that way: they want the divisive turd who fights for their racism and xenophobia and fundamentalism. It's super important to them that their "values" are never questioned, never reversed. They have to die on the hill of Trump. And that's why impeachment probably makes them more vigilant than losing an election. I think they need to see that their views are not what America as a whole wants.

Yea -defeat him in 2020. I know the likelihood of impeachment is as small as the GOP peckers. But dems have to keep pushing it. Because it is the [expletive] right thing to do.

If miraculously he does get impeached, there still needs to be a major Arsekicking of GOP at all levels.
